Who runs the orphanage?
The Albasharam Children’s Charity Organization is led by Catholic pastor Byaruhanga Abdurazaki in Nkusi, Uganda.
How many children are cared for?
Currently, 77 orphaned and abandoned children receive food, education, and care through the orphanage.
Why is support needed?
The home is rented, overcrowded, and lacks basic resources. Donations help provide daily meals, school fees, and a safe home.
How are donations managed?
Because GoFundMe does not support direct payouts in Uganda, Georg Kalcher in Austria organizes the fundraiser and transfers 100% of the funds directly to the orphanage.

Why is Albasharam Children’s Charity Organization an NGO?
Because Albasharam Children’s Charity Organization is independent and non-profit. It receives no government funding and exists solely to care for orphans and vulnerable children through donations and community support.
